I'm in a season where years of dreaming mixed with years of working on those dreams is birthing new opportunities. There are things I dreamt up 10-12 years ago that I never thought possible, such as writing devotionals, authoring a book, and studying in a doctoral program. What strikes me most in this season, is how effortless and with ease things seem to be coming together. The years of dreaming, writing, praying, trying, failing, and trying again have created a foundation of faith and perseverance in me, yielding fruit in my current season. It has taken many "yeses" to get me here today.
Sometimes, we hesitate to dream, or we doubt the possibilities before us because the time, effort, struggles, or work it takes to get to those dreams. But we serve a big God who can do big things with our small yes. We serve a God who created unique dreams within us and He invites us to embrace our freedom in Christ to dream big with Him. He promises to give us the desires of our heart when we delight in Him -Psalm 37:4.
