He Rose for Me

He Rose for Me

My Savior died for me.

He suffered for me.

He was pierced for me.

He gave His life for me.

And He didn’t stay there.

He rose for me.

That’s the part we celebrate today.

Not just that He died—

but that He lives.

Not just that there was sacrifice—

but that there is victory.

Not just that there was suffering—

but that there is life.

My Savior died for me.

And then He got up.

He overcame the grave.

He defeated death.

He fulfilled every promise.

And because He rose…

I have hope.

Hope that death is not the end.

Hope that sin does not have the final say.

Hope that what feels buried can be brought back to life.

This isn’t just a moment in history.

It’s personal.

Because He rose, I’m not stuck.

Because He rose, I’m not bound.

Because He rose, I have new life.

My Savior died for me.

And my Savior rose for me.

So today, we don’t just remember.

We celebrate.

We live in it.

We walk in it.

We carry it with us.

Because the same power that raised Jesus from the grave…

is still at work.

Even now.

Even here.

Even in you.

Reflection:

What does it change for you to know that Jesus didn’t just die for you—He rose for you?
